Robert Quintana kicks things off in Taos with the dream of having a great big gay celebration.
A one-time American Idol contestant in 2006, Quintana auditioned in Pasadena, Calif., and made several cuts where he said only a little more than 100 people were chosen. Quintana was also a songwriter, a talent he’d put on hold while he organized Gay Pride Taos weekend.
